I figured what better way to start off my blogging journey than to introduce myself AND my family. So without further-ado……
My name is Elise and I am a Yuma, Arizona based photographer. I started this photography journey back in January of 2017. My love for photography and creating an amazing experience for my clients has only continued to grow every.single.session. and I am so thankful for that!
I married my smokin’ hot husband in 2016 on top of a mountain in the middle of a snowstorm (15 inches in April y’all). Yes I did feel like I was in the middle of a Hallmark movie, yes it was seriously cold, and yes it was perfect in every way.
Vince spent the next two years filling my love cup with travel, adventures, a puppy, sweet random notes, displaying an incredible amount of patience, and just being the actual best human.
In June 2018 our beautiful, stubborn, independent-when-he-wants, and clingy-when-I’m-trying-to-accomplish-something, truck loving goofball son was born. If you’re ever bored get yourself a baby and husky-mix. You’ll never be bored again. Promise.
Being Nolan’s mom has brought me an immeasurable amount of joy. My motherhood journey has been filled with snuggles, plenty of tears (from both of us), a ridiculous amount of laundry and diapers, flying food, kissing boo-boos, countless humbling moments, a rollercoaster of emotions, the best smiles and belly laughs, personal growth, and oh-so-much love. He is the absolute best and it is a privilege to be his mom.
Chai tea, fuzzy socks, cozy sweatshirts, The Office, multiple blankets on top of me, crime shows/movies/podcasts, the mountains, any kind of travel, and a good hard cider are just a few of my favorite things.
The heart behind this business stems from my desire to live and love like Jesus. From the very first email, to helping you choose the perfect outfit, to capturing memories at our session, and finally creating your gallery; I hope to love and serve you through it all.
This will certainly not be the last post about my little family, but I think I’ve overloaded you enough with words so, enjoy the pretty pictures courtesy of a self-timer, and as always I would LOVE to hear from you (even if it’s just to say hey!) <3
